We treat the hand

Nine years in, VELOUR still books one client per technician per hour. Not because it scales, but because it doesn't. Craft, by definition, refuses efficiency.

Our menu is short on purpose. Every service is delivered slowly, in a room designed for two voices and a north-facing window.

The point isn't the manicure. The point is the hour — and the hand that walks back into your life when it's done.

VELOUR is a nine-year-old atelier for nails, lash, and brow — quietly obsessed with proportion, wear, and the way a hand looks against morning coffee. We take one client at a time. We use professional-grade formulas. And we treat every appointment like a small ceremony.

Chapter II · The signature

A ninety-minute portrait, in three movements.

What most call a manicure, we call a session. Below, the three movements of the house signature — the shape of every appointment at VELOUR.

The consultation

A shared table, a cup of jasmine, and a slow read of your hand. We map shape, length, and finish before a single file is lifted.

Warm cloths, cuticle oil pressed by hand, a masque, and the small ceremony of choosing colour under natural light.

Structured gel, cured slowly, polished to a soft glass. Photographed for our archive if you wish; kept private if you don't.
